This is a Gibson Hummingbird acoustic.

When I was going to Georgia Southern University in Statesboro,  my second cousin was working at a music store in Savannah.  He called me one day and said they had been double shipped on these Gibson Hummingbirds.  They did not have room to stock the extra guitars and were going to return the overages back to Gibson.  He said that he could sell any of them for his invoice price in order to save shipping costs back to Gibson.  My roommate and I both purchased one of these for $350, which was half price.  What a deal.  I think these guitars wholesale for over $2000 today.  I was a poor college student and would not have been able to have such a nice guitar back then had it not been for this situation.  And the best thing is that Gibson acoustic guitars only get better with age if you take care of them.  The top is a cherry sunburst finish and the back is wine red.  It also has 'Schaller' tuners.  I recently added a L. R. Baggs iBeam pick-up to this guitar.  The pick-up sounds good, was easy to install, and required the least modification of the guitar compared to the other acoustic guitar pick-ups I've seen.  I only had to enlarge the end pin hole from 1/4" to 1/2".

The picture on the left shows the complete iBeam system.   The pick-up is black and the silver tube contains a pre-amp and 1/4" jack that mounts into the end pin hole of your guitar.  The picture on the right is the iBeam mounted inside the guitar under the bridge.
